Dennis Massaro grew up in Newcastle, Pennsylvania in America. Dennis worked as ‘Director of Ministries’ at Wheaton College from 1979 –1998, where he first met James and Renata Bultema, when they were students there. From 1998 to 2014 he worked as a mortgage broker working with residential home loans. He has always been involved in the local church and, during this time, he has traveled to over 25 nations.
It was during one of these short term trips, filling in while Pastor James, of St. Paul Union Church, was away in 2013 that Dennis first fell in love with Antalya and it’s people. God gripped his heart as he saw the Lord working in this place. A friend spoke to him about God’s call on his life for full time ministry here and challenged him to go home and ’do business with God’. Later, while in America, Pastor James spoke to him about returning full time to Antalya as senior pastor of SPUC. The church voted unanimously to call Dennis as pastor. In January 2015, he moved to Antalya.
Dennis’s gifts are preaching, teaching, hospitality, friendships, and administration. He is finding the transition to Turkey very easy and loves the culture and people and is enjoying making many new friends.
